I mean its longer and it has more in depth with the characters and all the characters have way more moves. Flame of Recca is pretty much a pre-school version of Yu Yu hakusho. They are both worth watching tho.

Hanemaru (羽丸) is a madōgu wielder and a member of Triumvirate (The Three Ravens in the anime). The most noticeable thing about Hanemaru are his large black wings, which he can control using the Hizanu (飛斬羽, Winged death). He wears small, blue shorts with a vertical yellow line down the front, a, yellow belt, a tiny blue, one strap, tank top, showing his stomach, blue boots, one Shigeo Hanabishi is the foster father of Recca Hanabishi, who found him, when he was an infant sent through time by Kagerou (though he was unaware of this until later). He searched for his family, but could not find them and so chose to adopt and raise Recca as his own. He and Recca always get into fights with one another. Despite this, however, they have a very close relationship as father Flame of Recca/Meguri Kyōza. An eldery man like Genjuro, but with only a white goatee and bald head, he seems to be very kind even in battle acknowledging the enemy's skills, he is the strongest of the Jyushinshu and would be possibly even stronger than Kurei in his prime. He does not however do anything to help them since he was forced to join.
